Alinity was included in a lawsuit filed against Twitch. Erik Estavillo is a California Twitch user who filed a suit against Twitch seeking damages up to $25 million. The user claimed the site exposed him sexually explicit videos by female streamers. According to court documents from Dexerto, Estavillo, who had previously sued Microsoft and Sony in addition to Nintendo and Blizzard made the complaint on June 15 and Twitch was served with an official summons later that day. Estavillo was, in accordance with the Santa Clara Superior Court of California complaint has a range of medical ailments that make the user to solely rely on the Internet to enjoy his leisure. He is also suffering from obsessive compulsive disorder, and sexual dependence. According to the lawsuit, Twitch makes these issues worse. They also listed a few female Twitch streamers and stated that they "continue to expose users to sexually addictive content and regularly on a daily and regular on a regular basis." With the exception of Alinity, these include those who have requested relief. the complaint wants all the streamers mentioned above to be permanently barred in violation of Twitch's TOS together with a sum of $25 million "to be divided between the plaintiff and the other Twitch Prime Turbo subscribers," the remainder of which will go to different charities.
