Vinita Nair
She joined ABC News in July of 2004 and began reporting extensively on various issues, including investigation into the Jon Benet Ramsey murder investigation as well as the school shootings in Bailey, Colorado. Nair joined ABC News as an anchor/correspondent for ABC News Now in December 2007. For her work as a correspondent offered live news and briefings to ABC's networks. Nair anchors World News Now on ABC beginning on September 17th, 2008. until Feb. 18, 2011, and America This Morning. Nair was co-anchor with Jeremy Hubbard and later Rob Nelson in both shows. The 17th of February 2011 Nair made it clear that Friday February 18 would be her final evening on air on World News Now. She would also have her final day working for ABC News. Peggy Bunker from KDVR Denver was appointed her successor. World News Now, February 18th, featured three tributes to Nair. Both former and current colleagues also appeared in the segments. Nair treated her crew to hot food in her final day.
