Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in St. Louis St. Louis, Missouri. She was a member of The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia gave her a Bachelor of Arts (with the highest distinction) in Communications and Theatre. When she moved out of Missouri and into Los Angeles in 2004, she became involved in the theatre arts, including acting and conducting over 20 musicals. The productions include The Little Foxes Brady Bunch : The Musical Peter Pan for the Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera. Kelly was able to land films and TV roles when she enrolled in improvisation classes and was an Theatre West company member. Kelly's unique voice and small stature have allowed her to play a variety of characters. Her most well-known character is Naomi Watts's scheming Samara in The Ring 2, but her most famous role was as the cheerful receptionist in Two and a Half Men. From 2011 to 2015 Kelly played a paralegal at-day/party night hopper as a Series regular for the TV Land comedy The Exes. In addition as being a Regular for the sitcom ABC Romantically Challenged where she was the charming sassy younger sister of Alyssa Miano. The show also featured her as the suburban mother who is anxious on CW No Tomorrow. She's lent her singing soprano to a variety of animated shows such as Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. Recently, she has appeared as the lovable, dim Cloud 9 employees on NBC's super-hit comedy Superstore. She's married to two young kids and lives in a quiet house. She loves to write, sew and volunteer at school.
