Colson Baker (or Machine Gun Kelly) is famous for his distinct style of rappers. Baker was born in Houston in Texas on the 22nd of April in 1990 to the family of a German and English Scottish family. When he was a kid Baker, he spent a good period of his time on the road along with his parents who were missionaries. His father James Colson Baker struggled with depression and unemployed and his mother Sonia Alane left them when he was nine. After that, Baker and his dad moved to Denver in the area where they stayed together with his father's aunt. Baker was a target of bullying because he lived in poverty by the other kids. When he was in sixth grade, he began to listen to rap. Colson Baker, better known by the name Machine Gun Kelly, was born in Texas on April 22nd, 1990. He is known for fusing modern and alternative hip-hop with rock music in his compositions. Before signing with Bad Boy Records Baker released four mixtapes between 2007 and 2010. With lyrics that were faster than bullet trains, this Cleveland artist saw an explosive climb to fame in the year. He went from releasing self-released tapes to being signed to labels. After that, his career was on the rise as each albums charted inside the top 10 charts.
