Bashar Barakah (July 19 1999 - February. 19 2019, 2020), professionally known as Pop Smoke was an American musician. Pop Smoke was signed by Victor Victor Worldwide and Republic Records. Pop Smoke gained popularity as the Brooklyn drill producer by working together with UK producers 808Melo Axl Beats & Yoz Beatz. Welcome to the Party the most popular track from his first Mixtape Meet the Woo was released in July of 2019. The remixes of the song Welcome to the Party were done in August by American rapper Nicki Minaj as well as British singer Skepta. The pop-rocker's breakthrough track Welcome to the Party was released in April 2019. It was the first single released from his debut mixtape Meet the Woo. In August the track was remixed two times, one with Nicki Minaj featuring and another time featuring Skepta. The song was noted to have track used UK drill production, which would later be seen in the entirety of his discography. Collaborations with 808Melo as well as British drill producer 808Melo were the reason for this. Other well-known songs of his include Mpr Flexin and Dior.
